At Touch and Control, programming is at the heart of what we do, carried out by our own team and led by a programmer. We audit your existing system, recover or rebuild the programming, update software and firmware, fix scenes and integrations and provide support whenever you need it, on site and remotely where the system allows it. We work job by job: reprogramming, updates, repairs and remote support, when you ask for them. Frequently asked questions
Our installer has disappeared and we have no project file. Can you help?
Yes. We audit the system and, depending on the platform and how it was set up, either recover the existing programming or rebuild it. We explain the options before we start. On KNX projects we carry out, we hand over the full ETS project file on completion, so you are never left without it.
Do you work on Savant and RTI systems?
Yes. Savant and RTI, like Crestron, are systems we programme and maintain, alongside KNX and Control4.
Do I need to replace everything?
Not necessarily. Often the equipment is still sound and the problem lies in the programming or a few obsolete components. We recommend replacing only what is necessary.
Can you take over a system installed by another company?
Yes. We start with an audit so we know exactly what is installed and how it is programmed.
Can you support my system remotely?
Where the system and your network allow it, we diagnose and adjust remotely; otherwise we come to the property.
Why did my system stop working after an update?
Updates to apps, streaming services, routers or devices can break scenes and integrations. We check versions and compatibility, update in the right order and test everything afterwards.
